Travis Theis had two rushing touchdowns to help the Coyotes take a 14-0 lead, but the Bison fought back to tie the game before eventually pulling ahead. Cam Miller was solid for North Dakota State, throwing for one touchdown and rushing for another score. However, Bouman’s heroics in the final minutes sealed the victory for South Dakota.
South Dakota finishes the season with a 9-2 record and a 7-1 conference record, while North Dakota State falls to 10-2 overall and 7-1 in conference play.
