Six Jackrabbits Honored as Academic All-District


Six members of the South Dakota State soccer program were recently recognized for their academic and athletic achievements by College Sports Communicators. Katelyn Beulke, Emma Knack, Lauren Eckerle, Avery LeBlanc, Kaycee Manding, and Avery Murdzek were named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District teams. This honor is given to student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom.

Beulke, Knack, and Eckerle, all with perfect 4.0 GPAs, received their first Academic All-District honors. LeBlanc, who scored five goals during the season, earned this recognition for the first time. Manding and Murdzek were named to the team for the third time.

These athletes played key roles in helping South Dakota State secure its second consecutive Summit League Tournament championship. The team has a total of nine conference tournament titles in its history. The Academic All-District honorees are now eligible for the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the final honorees set to be announced on December 11th.

The success of these student-athletes both on and off the field highlights the dedication and hard work of the South Dakota State soccer program. As they continue to excel in their academic and athletic endeavors, they serve as role models for aspiring student-athletes everywhere.
