The institute, which currently has 180 students, aims to prepare students for the theater and entertainment industry.
Students like Wang Dianlong and Li Qing have found passion and new opportunities at the institute, with Wang excited about the change in career path and Li drawn to theater by her admiration for playwright Stan Lai. The institute also provides students with practical experience through part-time jobs during events like the Huichang Theater Village’s Theater Season.
President Liao hopes to raise awareness and respect for theater and theater technology within the community, emphasizing the importance of cultivating a sense of responsibility and professionalism in the industry.
