The South Dakota Volleyball Coaches Association has announced the players selected for the 2024 all-state teams. The selection is based on votes from coaches in each respective class.
For the First Team, standout players include Maggie Meister from Harrisburg with 590 digs and 27 aces, and Emery Thury from Watertown with 509 kills and a .332 hitting percentage. Notable players on the Second Team include Joselyn Samuels from Harrisburg and Claire Munch from Dakota Valley.
In the Class A division, Addisen Barber from Sioux Falls Christian leads the First Team with 928 assists and 184 digs. The Second Team features Madelyn Munch from Dakota Valley and Addison Neuendorf from Hamlin.
For Class B, Lily Van Hal from Chester and Kailee Frank from Burke are featured on the First Team, while Carly Cotton from Faulkton Area and Brynlee Landis from Colman-Egan are on the Second Team.
These players have shown exceptional skill and dedication throughout the season, earning them spots on the prestigious all-state teams. The 2024 selection continues the tradition of recognizing top talent in South Dakota high school volleyball.
