The South Dakota women’s basketball game against Northern Arizona has been rescheduled to accommodate the South Dakota FCS Playoff game on Dec. 7. Originally set for 1 p.m., the game will now take place at 11 a.m. in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. The matchup is part of the Big Sky-Summit Challenge, with the Coyotes and Lumberjacks facing off in a rematch from last spring’s WNIT, where the Coyotes emerged victorious. The Black Out Theme and Kids Club Day planned for the Northern Arizona game will now be incorporated into the Wyoming game on Dec. 15.
The decision to move the game time was made to allow fans to attend both the women’s basketball game and the football playoff game, as the South Dakota football team is hosting a Second Round Playoff game at 2 p.m. in the DakotaDome. This adjustment will provide an opportunity for supporters to enjoy a full day of Coyote athletics. The event promises to be an exciting day for the university’s sports community as they come together to cheer on both teams. Fans are encouraged to come out and show their support for both the women’s basketball and football teams as they strive for victory in their respective playoff games.
