Ticketmaster will reportedly relist thousands of Oasis tickets on their platform at face value, in an effort to combat scalping. Around 4% of the 1.4 million tickets sold for Oasis’ upcoming reunion tour in the UK ended up on resale sites, totaling over 50,000 tickets which will now be canceled. Fans who believe their tickets were canceled in error can contact their ticket agent to open an investigation.
The demand for Oasis tickets has been high due to the band’s 15-year hiatus and the ongoing feud between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. To prevent ticket scalping, tickets for the Oasis ’25 Live tour could only be resold at face value using Ticketmaster or Twickets. This move was made to ensure that tickets would be available to loyal fans at reasonable prices.
Fans have long complained about ticket scalping affecting ticket prices and availability, leading Oasis to implement fan-focused measures for their tour. These include questionnaires for ticket sales and restrictions on resale prices for certain shows. The tour will kick off in the UK and Ireland in July 2025 before moving to North America in late August, with stops in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and East Rutherford, New Jersey.
