Vice President Kamala Harris released a summary of her medical records, which show her to be a healthy 59-year-old female with seasonal allergies and hives that are being treated. Her physician noted that she engages in regular exercise, has a healthy diet, drinks moderately, and does not use tobacco. The report concluded that she has the physical and mental resilience required for the duties of the Presidency. This is the first time Harris’ medical records have been made public, unlike former President Donald Trump who has yet to release his records despite promising to do so. Trump’s most recent medical report in 2023 lacked specifics and only stated that he was in excellent health. As Harris campaigns for re-election, the focus is being shifted towards Trump’s age, 78, compared to Harris who is 59. An ad released by Harris’s campaign questions what would happen if Trump became incapacitated during his presidency, leaving his running mate, Sen. JD Vance, in charge. The ad highlights moments where Trump appeared to be off his game and uses his own playbook against him by focusing on his age and health.
