Week 6 of high school football brought forth some intense match-ups and standout performances in the world of South Dakota Gridiron. Dakota News Now highlights the top moments from the games that took place on September 30th, 2024.

One of the standout games of the week was the showdown between two powerhouse teams, Sisseton and Milbank. Sisseton came out on top with a 35-21 victory, showcasing their offensive prowess and strong defense. Quarterback Jake Peterson led the charge for Sisseton, throwing for over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Another notable performance came from the Harrisburg Tigers, who dominated their match against Aberdeen Central with a final score of 42-14. The Tigers exhibited a balanced attack, with strong performances from both their passing and rushing game. Quarterback Mason Nielsen threw for 250 yards and 4 touchdowns, while running back Carter Gau rushed for over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.

In the class 11AA division, Roosevelt continued their winning streak with a 28-7 victory over Brookings. Quarterback Carson Marcotte also had a solid performance, throwing for 2 touchdowns and guiding his team to another win.
